Cynthia

Cynthia has been teaching music for over 20 years in various positions in the Chicago area.  She has taught jazz voice at Benedictine University; directed the Steel Drum Bands at Waubonsee Community College; in the general music classroom at several Catholic Schools. as well as at various private lesson studios and in the Chicagoland area. She studied music performance at both Northern Illinois University in Percussion, and DePaul University in Jazz Voice. Having a fun and positive approach to teaching, she is committed to fostering a supportive and structured lesson for each student to get the maximum results of their unique talents and abilities. Music should not only be fun, but structured and built on a solid foundation. She is very excited to be teaching at Westmont Music Academy, and is looking forward to inspiring her students to enjoy their music learning!
